Balsamic Asparagus


I can't believe I have found another asparagus recipe that I like. What is going on?! Years of hating asparagus and now I have found two recipes that I like. If you want to see the other asparagus recipe that won me over check it out here.

Balsamic Asparagus

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus
  • 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

  1. Snap off the tough ends of the asparagus.
  2. In a large skillet bring 1 inch of water to a boil.
  3. Add asparagus, reduce heat to medium and cook for 3-5 minutes or until asparagus is tender crisp. Drain asparagus.
  4. In a small bowl whisk together the balsamic vinegar, melted butter, garlic and black pepper.
  5. Drizzle over asparagus.
