Jalapeño Popper Burger
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds ground turkey
- 1 large jalapeño, seeded and finely diced
- 4 ounces reduced fat cream cheese, softened
- 6 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 4 hamburger buns (not included in nutritional info)
Directions:
- In a small bowl combine the cream cheese, jalapeños and bacon.
- Divide the turkey into 8 equal portions and shape the into thin patties, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture onto 4 of the patties.
- Top each patty with a remaining patty and pinch the seal the edges well.
- Cook patties your preferred way and toast the hamburger buns.
- Spread any remaining cream cheese mixture onto the buns and top with a burger.
