Crock Pot Tropical Barbecue Chicken

Crock Pot Tropical Barbecue Chicken: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

I am not sure why I did not make any rice to go with this chicken. It must have been one of those days or even one of those weeks. As you can tell from the picture this recipe does create a nice sauce with it and would pair perfectly with some rice. So do not make the same mistake I did and make some rice to go with this chicken.

Crock Pot Tropical Barbecue Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 20 ounces pineapple chunks, drained
  • cooked rice

Directions:

  1. Combine molasses, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, hot sauce and orange juice.
  2. Place the chicken in crock pot and brush the sauce on both sides of the chicken.
  3. Top chicken with pineapple chunks.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Enjoy!!!
