Bite sized chicken pieces coated in a stick sauce that is a little sweet and a little spicy. You only need 5 ingredients to make this easy and delicious sauce.
Sweet and Spicy Chicken Bites
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 6 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Directions:
- Add the olive oil to a skillet and heat over medium-high heat. One the oil is hot, add in the chicken pieces and season with the chili powder and garlic powder, stir to coat the chicken in the seasoning. Cook for 4-5 minutes, flipping the chicken pieces occasionally.
- Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sriracha, minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Taste the sauce and add up to 1 teaspoon if not spicy enough.
- Once the chicken is starting to brown and almost cooked through, pour in the sauce. Let it simmer for 4-5 minutes or until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is completely cooked through.
