Pizza Pasta Salad

Pizza Pasta Salad: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

My family is not big fans of pasta salad. It takes the right pasta salad for them to like it and this one did the trick. It must be the pepperoni that won them over. Although, whatever it was that got them to like this salad I am glad, because I really liked this salad and wanted to keep the recipe.

Next time I make this salad my oldest suggested I add banana peppers, because that is one of our favorite pizza toppings. I think she may be on to something and will have to try adding them.

Pizza Pasta Salad

Ingredients:

  • 16 ounces bow tie pasta
  • 2 cups grape tomatoes, halved
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 5 ounces pepperoni, quartered
  • 3/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 cup zesty Italian dressing
  • grated parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Rinse and drain well.
  2. Transfer the pasta to a large bowl and add in the tomatoes, cheese, pepperoni, black olives and dressing. Toss to coat.
  3. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  4. Sprinkle each serving with parmesan cheese.
Enjoy!!!

Notes:
After being refrigerated overnight the pasta will absorb the dressing and you may need to add more before serving.
