Snickerdoodle Overnight Oatmeal: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

One of these days I need to try again and figure out why my snickerdoodle cookies never come out just right. Awhile back I sent quite some time trying to figure out why they come out flat, taste great, just flat. But I gave up after making half a dozen different recipes trying different techniques.

Until then I will settle for these overnight oats with the same cinnamon flavor of a delicious snickerdoodle cookie.

Snickerdoodle Overnight Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

  1. In a mason jar or other sealable container, stir together all of the ingredients until well mixed.
  2. Place the lid on the container and refrigerate overnight.
  3. In the morning, stir the oats well before eating.
