I ate these pancakes without anything on them because they were so good and perfectly sweet. I am in love with the taste of these pancakes! I have to say I was surprised how much the sweetness from the heavy cream really came though in these pancakes. I wasn’t really expecting to enjoy them as much as I did without any toppings on them.
Sweet Cream Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat a griddle.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and sugar.
- In another large bowl whisk together the eggs, vanilla and heavy cream.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until mixed. The batter will be thick because of the heavy cream, if desired add a little bit of milk to thin.
- Place 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot griddle and gently spread into an even layer.
- Cook until bubbles begin to appear and the pancake is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Flip the pancakes over and cook on the other side until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
Enjoy!!!

Yields about 12 pancakes.
