Peanut Butter Mocha

Peanut Butter Mocha: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

Peanut butter and chocolate are such a classic and delicious combination that it only makes sense to use that combination in a delicious coffee drink.

Peanut Butter Mocha

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter syrup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, stir together the water and sugar.
  2. Heat over medium-low heat until the sugar is dissolved, stirring often, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add in the peanut butter and stir constantly until the mixture is completely mixed and smooth, about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Store the extra in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  6. Pour the coffee into a mug and stir in the peanut butter syrup.
  7. Heat the milk in a microwave safe container until hot, about 15-20 seconds.
  8. Whisk in the cocoa powder and sugar until well mixed and sugar is dissolved.
  9. Pour the milk mixture over the coffee.
