Since this crock pot recipe requires you to precook all of the ingredients before adding them to the cock pot, I like to prepare it the night before and refrigerate it in the crock pot stoneware. Then the following day the kids put the stoneware in the crock pot and turn it on, so when it is dinner time it is ready to go and I do not have to prepare anything, but a vegetable.
