Homemade Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

Homemade cranberry sauce could not be any easier and it taste so much better and more tart than the canned variety.


Homemade Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 12 ounces cranberries, fresh or frozen
Directions:
  1. In a medium saucepan combine the water and sugar and bring the mixture to a boil.
  2. Add in the cranberries and return the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat and allow the mixture to boil gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a container, cover and allow to cool completely at room temperature.
  4. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
