Cinnamon Roll Ice Cream

Cinnamon Roll Ice Cream: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

Creamy cinnamon flavored ice cream is swirled with a delicious cream cheese icing, creating an ice cream that tastes like a cinnamon roll.

Cinnamon Roll Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup half and half
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

Directions:

  1. Place a freezer safe container for storing the ice cream in the freezer.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the half and half and sugar until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Whisk in the cinnamon.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the mixture into an ice cream machine and churn according to the manufacturer's directions.
  6. While the ice cream is churning, beat the cream cheese until fluffy.
  7. Add in the cream and beat until well mixed.
  8. Add in the powdered sugar and beat until well mixed.
  9. Remove the storage container out of the freezer and transfer half of the ice cream into it. Place blobs of the cream cheese icing on top of the ice cream and top with the remaining ice cream. sauce. Using a knife, swirl the ice cream and cream cheese icing together. Cover the container and freeze.
