Sometimes recipes are worth making over and over again to get just right and some are not. This coffee was totally worth it. I do not remember how many times I made this recipe before I had it right, but I would not stop until it tasted just right. This coffee has the perfect blend of chocolate and cherry.
Chocolate Covered Cherry Latte
Ingredients:
- 6 ounces strong brewed coffee
- 5 dark chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons simple cherry syrup
- 1/4 cup half and half
Directions:
- In a glass measuring cup add the chocolate chips and heat in the microwave for 10 seconds.
- Add in the hot coffee and stir until the chocolate is completely melted and mixed with the coffee.
- Stir in the cherry syrup.
- Pour the mixture into a mug.
- Add the half and half to a small bowl and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds.
- Whisk the half and half to create some foam.
- Slowly pour the half and half over the coffee and top with the foam.
