Chocolate Covered Cherry Latte: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

Sometimes recipes are worth making over and over again to get just right and some are not. This coffee was totally worth it. I do not remember how many times I made this recipe before I had it right, but I would not stop until it tasted just right. This coffee has the perfect blend of chocolate and cherry.

Chocolate Covered Cherry Latte

Ingredients:

  • 6 ounces strong brewed coffee
  • 5 dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons simple cherry syrup
  • 1/4 cup half and half

Directions:

  1. In a glass measuring cup add the chocolate chips and heat in the microwave for 10 seconds.
  2. Add in the hot coffee and stir until the chocolate is completely melted and mixed with the coffee.
  3. Stir in the cherry syrup.
  4. Pour the mixture into a mug.
  5. Add the half and half to a small bowl and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  6. Whisk the half and half to create some foam.
  7. Slowly pour the half and half over the coffee and top with the foam.
