I have tried several chocolate smoothies that use unsweetened cocoa powder. I love the idea of adding chocolate to my smoothies, but unsweetened cocoa powder does not taste good in a smoothie. However, chocolate milk taste great in a smoothie and adds the perfect amount of chocolate flavor. Plus chocolate milk has been proven as a good recovery drink, so adding it to my post run breakfast smoothie makes perfect sense.
Chocolate Banana Berry Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 frozen banana, cut into chunks
- 1 1/4 cups frozen mixed berries
- 3/4 cup chocolate milk
Cooking Directions
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
