This casserole is so easy to prepare and tastes so delicious! Plus it only requires six ingredients. I don't think it gets any better than that.
Italian Sausage and Ravioli Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 pound italian sausage
- 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 26 ounces pasta sauce
- 25 ounces frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 1/2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend
Directions:
- Preheat and oven to 350º F.
- In a large nonstick skillet, over medium-high heat, cook the sausage, diced onions and garlic until the sausage is completely cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the pasta sauce.
- In a 9x13 baking dish spread 1 cup of the sausage mixture.
- Place 1/2 of the ravioli on top and sprinkle with 1 cup of the cheese.
- Place the remaining ravioli on top followed by the rest of the sausage mixture and then the remaining cheese.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45-50 minutes or until the casserole is completely heated through.
- Remove the aluminum foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
