Spicy Coleslaw

Spicy Coleslaw: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

My husband loved this coleslaw. It was tangy with plenty of spiciness to it. The longer this coleslaw sat in the fridge the spicier it got and my husband loved it even more. However, I would not make this too far in advance, otherwise it may be too spicy for some to eat. My husband and I tend to be able to handle more spice than the average person.

Spicy Coleslaw

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup low fat miracle whip
  • 1/3 cup light sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • pinch onion powder
  • pinch cumin
  • pinch cayenne pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground celery seed
  • 16 ounces coleslaw mix

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl combine the miracle whip, sour cream, sugar and all of the spices. Mix until well combined.
  2. Add in the coleslaw mix and stir everything together.
Enjoy!!!
