This buffalo chicken is so easy and so good! Dump everything in your crock pot and let it cook! Can't get much easier than that, well actually it can. You are able to put the chicken in frozen! Now that is what I call an easy recipe.
Crock Pot Buffalo Chicken
Ingredients:
- 3 pounds frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 12 ounces Franks Red Hot Sauce
- 1 package ranch dressing mix
Directions:
- Place chicken into a crock pot and pour hot sauce over top.
- Sprinkle ranch seasoning over the hot sauce.
- Place lid on crock pot and cook on low for 5 hours or until chicken is cooked.
- Remove chicken and shred. Return chicken to crock pot and stir to coat.
- Cook for an additional hour or until the chicken absorbs most of the sauce.
Notes:
You do not have to use exactly 3 pounds of chicken, a little bit more will still work. I have actually seen this same recipe, but it called for up to 5 pounds of chicken.
You can Franks Buffalo Wing Sauce, instead of Franks Red Hot Sauce. I used the hot sauce because I had a bunch of it on hand.
I used my homemade ranch seasoning mix to help reduce the amount of sodium in this chicken.
