This crock pot recipe is the type I love! Throw everything in and let it cook. I have even put my chicken in frozen and it was still done in four hours. Now my crock pot cooks fast so you may or may not be able to put in frozen chicken.
With this recipe I use my Homemade Italian Seasoning Mix and my homemade cream of chicken soup to significantly reduce the sodium levels. If you use the store bought variety be aware that the sodium levels will be higher than listed below.
Crock Pot Italian Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 package Italian seasoning mix
- 8 ounce package reduced fat cream cheese, softened
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 16 ounces rotini noodles, cooked
Directions:
- Place chicken in a crock pot.
- In a large bowl, combine Italian seasoning, cream cheese and cream of chicken soup. Pour over chicken. Cook on low for 4 hours.
- Serve over pasta or mix the pasta into the chicken mixture.
