This is a delicious twist on a traditional sloppy joe. I loved the flavor that came from the chili beans. Plus it is super quick and easy to make. In fact my husband was so surprised when I said dinner was ready.
1 pound ground turkey
1 small yellow onion, diced
1- 15 ounce can chili beans
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
6 hamburger buns
In a large skillet add in the ground turkey and diced onion. Cook until turkey is completely cooked. Drain any grease.
Add the chili beans and barbecue sauce to the turkey. Stir to mix well.
Serve on buns and top with your desired cheese.
