I love dishes like this where they are easily customized to your liking. Usually when I make this I use a hot salsa, but I had some medium left in the fridge from another recipe I need to use up so I used it in this recipe. It did not have quite the spice level I was looking for so I added a bit of hot sauce to my serving and it gave me the spiciness I was missing.
