Crock Pot Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

I have made peanut butter hot chocolate before, but that was on the stove with with actual peanut putter and dark chocolate chips. This version is made in a crock pot and uses peanut butter chips and milk chocolate chips.

Depending on how creamy you want the hot chocolate to be and how many calories you want its to have, you can use milk or half and half. Of course half and half will produce the creamiest followed by whole milk which are my two preferred to use in hot chocolate. Sometimes I will do half whole milk and half half and half.

Crock Pot Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Pour the milk into a crock pot.
  2. Add in  the vanilla extract, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, peanut butter chips and chocolate chips. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover the crock pot and heat on high for 1-1 1/2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
  4. If not serving right away switch crock pt to low or warm.
  5. Pour into mugs and top with your favorite hot chocolate toppings.
Enjoy!!!
