I have been wanting to remake these for awhile now. However, the time it takes to make and wait for the dough to rise and then cooking the sausage and eggs and finally putting it all together and baking it, I wouldn't be eating these until lunch time, especially since I have to exercise before I can make breakfast.
To solve this problem, I made the dough the night before, covered it with plastic wrap and refrigerated it. The next morning, I got the dough out and let it come to room temperature while I exercised. Then I cooked the sausage and eggs and put it all together and baked them.
