Fresas con crema means, strawberries with cream. Fresh strawberries are cut up and topped with a cream made with sour cream, evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk. A creamy and delicious dessert perfect for spring and summer.
Fresas con Crema
Ingredients:
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 pounds fresh strawberries
Directions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the sour cream, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Whisk until well blended and and there are no lumps. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Remove the tops from the strawberries and cut the strawberries into bite sized pieces. Divide the strawberries evenly into 4 bowls or cups.
- Spoon desired amount of cream over top of the strawberries.
- Cream will last 1 week in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
