Jalapeños, sausage on a pizza with a ranch sauce made with three different cheeses, yes please! I haven’t made a homemade pizza in awhile and this was a delicious one to get back into making pizzas.
Pizza with a spicy little bite and a creamy sauce to help tone down the spiciness. Such a delicious combination for a pizza.
Jalapeño Sausage Pizza with Three Cheese Ranch Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 3/4 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 3 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded and divided
- 3/4 cup ranch dressing
- 14 ounces pizza dough
- 2 jalapeños, sliced
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 425º F.
- In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, cook and crumble the sausage until completely cooked.
- In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, add in the cream cheese and chicken broth. Whisk together until the cheese is completely melted and combined with the broth.
- Add in the parmesan cheese and 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese. Continue to whisk until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.
- Add in the ranch dressing and whisk until combined.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer the sauce for 10 minutes.
- Roll the pizza dough out into desired shape and thickness and place on a pizza pan, baking sheet or pizza wheel dusted with cornmeal.
- Pour the three cheese ranch sauce onto the pizza dough and spread into an even layer, leaving a 1/4-1/2 inch around the edge for the crust.
- Top the sauce with the cooked and crumbled sausage and sliced jalapeños. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.

Notes:
The calorie and sodium content are high for this pizza due to the sausage, using only 1/2 pound of sausage will reduce those numbers.
