I've wanted to remake this pasta again for awhile now, but the price of asparagus has kept me from doing so. Recently, it dawned on me that I remember seeing frozen asparagus. Turns out frozen asparagus is much more cost effective. I used a 12 ounce package of frozen asparagus instead of 1 bunch of fresh.
The only issue I had with the frozen asparagus, was the soft mushiness it had. It did not have the bite that the fresh does. However, for the price of the frozen versus fresh it works and the pasta is still delicious.
