I never used to eat overnight oats in the winter time. I don't like eating cold oats when it is so cold outside. However, they are so good and are such a quick breakfast. These oats have the prefect amount of sweetness for me so I do not taste the flavor of the plain yogurt and makes the oats taste yummy.
Maple Brown Sugar Overnight Oats
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup non fat Greek yogurt
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Directions:
- In a mason jar or other sealable container, add in the oats, milk, Greek yogurt, brown sugar and maple syrup. Stir until well mixed.
- Seal the container and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, give the oats a quick stir before eating and add a bit more milk if oats are too thick for your taste.
Enjoy!!!
