Maple Brown Sugar Overnight Oats

Maple Brown Sugar Overnight Oats: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

I never used to eat overnight oats in the winter time. I don't like eating cold oats when it is so cold outside. However, they are so good and are such a quick breakfast. These oats have the prefect amount of sweetness for me so I do not taste the flavor of the plain yogurt and makes the oats taste yummy.

Maple Brown Sugar Overnight Oats

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup non fat Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Directions:

  1. In a mason jar or other sealable container, add in the oats, milk, Greek yogurt, brown sugar and maple syrup. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Seal the container and refrigerate overnight.
  3. In the morning, give the oats a quick stir before eating and add a bit more milk if oats are too thick for your taste.
Enjoy!!!
