French Onion Turkey Casserole: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

In my family we do not eat a lot of beef. I substitute all ground beef with ground turkey. With this casserole you could use you ground meat of your choice. That is one reason I like casseroles, because they are so easy  to customize.

This casserole was creamy and just all around delicious. But how could it not be when it contains a whole container of french onion dip.

French Onion Turkey Casserole: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

French Onion Turkey Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 10 ounces wide egg noodles
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2- 10.75 ounce cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 15 ounces french onion dip
  • 1 cup french fried onions

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350º F. Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Cook the noodles according to the package directions and drain.
  3. In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, cook the ground turkey until completely cooked.
  4. Add in the cream of mushroom soups and french onion dip. Stir until well combined. Stir in the egg noodles.
  5. Remove the skillet from the heat and pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the fried onions on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is heated through.
