Yummy, yum, yum! Oh my this salad was so, so very delicious! I loved it, my husband loved it, my kids loved it! It is most definitely a keeper and one I look forward to making again next summer.
Italian Chopped Salad
Ingredients:
- 2 large heads romaine lettuce
- 3/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
- 3/4 cup banana pepper rings
- 6 ounce can black olives, sliced
- 8 ounces provolone, sliced into 1/4 inch strips
- 8 ounces salami, sliced into 1/4 inch strips
- 12 ounces grape tomatoes, sliced in half
- freshly ground black pepper
- Italian herb vinaigrette dressing
Directions:
- Chop the lettuce and place into a large salad bowl.
- Add in the onions, pepper rings, black olives, cheese, salami and tomatoes. Season with black pepper and gently toss everything together.
- Serve the salad and top each serving with dressing.
