Italian Chopped Salad: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

Yummy, yum, yum! Oh my this salad was so, so very delicious! I loved it, my husband loved it, my kids loved it! It is most definitely a keeper and one I look forward to making again next summer.

Italian Chopped Salad: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

Italian Chopped Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 large heads romaine lettuce
  • 3/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 3/4 cup banana pepper rings
  • 6 ounce can black olives, sliced
  • 8 ounces provolone, sliced into 1/4 inch strips
  • 8 ounces salami, sliced into 1/4 inch strips
  • 12 ounces grape tomatoes, sliced in half
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • Italian herb vinaigrette dressing

Directions:

  1. Chop the lettuce and place into a large salad bowl.
  2. Add in the onions, pepper rings, black olives, cheese, salami and tomatoes. Season with black pepper and gently toss everything together.
  3. Serve the salad and top each serving with dressing.
 Enjoy!!!
