Growing up I never could have imagined I would have quite the collection of oatmeal recipes. From stove top to baked to overnight I sometimes feel like I've made them all and there are no more possible combinations. All from someone who did not like oatmeal as a kid.
Banana Chocolate Chip Overnight Oats
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/3 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoons honey, optional
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- 2 tablespoons chocolate chips
Directions:
- In a mason jar or other sealable container, add in the oats, milk, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.
- Add in the banana and chocolate chips and gently mix in.
- Seal the container and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, give the oats a quick stir before eating and add a bit more milk if oats are too thick for your taste.
Enjoy!!!
Notes:
I used dark chocolate chips.
