I wish I could tell you what this fish tasted like, but unfortunately I can not. If you have been following this blog for sometime, you know that I do not like fish or seafood. However, the two fish eater in the household loved this fish and both went back for more.
Oven Baked Parmesan Crusted Tilapia
Ingredients:
- 1 pound tilapia
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400º F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and brush with some olive oil.
- Pat both sides of the tilapia dry with paper towel.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the parmesan cheese, paprika, parsley and black pepper.
- Brush both sides of the tilapia with olive oil and then place the tilapia into the parmesan cheese mixture. Sprinkle some of the cheese mixture on top and then gently press down to stick the mixture to the fish. Carefully flip the fish over and repeat this process. Carefully place the fish onto the prepared baking sheet and gently press some of the cheese mixture onto the top of the fish.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the fish is flaky.
