I am very picky when it comes to hot chocolate. I always make it with milk, never water. I absolutely do not like hot chocolate made with water. And there is only one brand of powdered hot chocolate that I like. As much as I like making hot chocolate from scratch, there are times when a packet comes in handy, especially when my kids want some hot chocolate they can easily make it themselves.
Making hot chocolate with three different milks, make for a delicious mug of cocoa with a subtle coconut flavor. You can taste the coconut flavor because one of the milks is coconut milk, but it is not an overwhelming coconut flavor.
