This chicken is so incredible easy and so incredibly delicious! But the best part is the chicken comes out so deliciously tender, flavorful and not dry. Dry chicken can ruin any dish, but with this chicken you do not have to worry about that.
Spicy Oven Baked Chicken Breasts
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoons dried parsley
- 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
- olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 450º F.
- In a small bowl, whisk together all of the spices.
- Cut the chicken breasts in half lengthwise creating 4 chicken breasts.
- Pat the chicken dry on both sides with paper towel.
- Coat one side of each chicken breast with a little bit of olive oil and rub with some of the seasoning mixture, about 3/4 teaspoon.
- Place the chicken seasoned side down into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Brush the other side of the chicken with a little bit of olive oil and rub with the remainder of the seasoning mixture.
- Place 1/2 tablespoon of butter on top of each chicken breast.
- Bake for 18 minutes. Remove the baking dish from the oven and cover with aluminum foil. Return the baking dish to the oven and bake for an additional 4-5 minutes.
- Remove the baking dish from the oven and allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
