Garlic Pizza Bagels

Garlic Pizza Bagels: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

Bagels are a weakness of mine. I will always go for a good bagel and have a hard time turning one down. Any chance I get to try a new recipe involving a bagel I will take it. Pizza on a bagel is a quick and easy lunch sure to please.

Garlic Pizza Bagels

Ingredients:

  • 4 cheese bagels, cut in half
  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 8 ounces sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 40 pepperoni slices

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375º F.
  2. In a small bowl mix the butter and garlic together until well mixed. Spread this mixture on the cut side of each bagel half and place the bagels on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread each bagel with about 1 1/2 tablespoons of pizza sauce.
  4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top of the pizza sauce and then place 5 pepperoni slices on top.
  5. Bake for 8-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bagel is toasted to your liking.
