Bagels are a weakness of mine. I will always go for a good bagel and have a hard time turning one down. Any chance I get to try a new recipe involving a bagel I will take it. Pizza on a bagel is a quick and easy lunch sure to please.
Garlic Pizza Bagels
Ingredients:
- 4 cheese bagels, cut in half
- 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup pizza sauce
- 8 ounces sliced mozzarella cheese
- 40 pepperoni slices
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375º F.
- In a small bowl mix the butter and garlic together until well mixed. Spread this mixture on the cut side of each bagel half and place the bagels on a baking sheet.
- Spread each bagel with about 1 1/2 tablespoons of pizza sauce.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese on top of the pizza sauce and then place 5 pepperoni slices on top.
- Bake for 8-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bagel is toasted to your liking.
