Crock Pot Cheesy Chicken Rotini

Crock Pot Cheesy Chicken Rotini: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

This crock pot meal is so easy and so delicious! Perfect for those busy weeknights or a weekend where you do not want to be stuck in the kitchen making dinner.

Crock Pot Cheesy Chicken Rotini: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

I make this using frozen chicken breasts. My crock pot tends to cook things faster than a recipe states, so even with using frozen chicken breasts it is still done in the time the original recipe states.

Crock Pot Cheesy Chicken Rotini

Ingredients:

  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, about 24 ounces
  • 2-10.5 ounce cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 16 ounces rotini pasta

Directions:

  1. Place the chicken into a crock pot.
  2. In a large bowl stir together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, black pepper, oregano, garlic and onion powder. Pour over the chicken.
  3. Place the lid on the crock pot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, remove from the crock pot and shred, then return to the crock pot.
  5. Add in the sour cream, 1 cup cheese and cooked pasta. Stir to mix. Top with remaining cheese.
  6. Cover the crock pot and cook on warm for 20 minutes.
Enjoy!!!
