Balsamic Garlic Chicken Marinade

Balsamic Garlic Chicken Marinade: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

I love a good marinaded chicken! Well, a good and flavorful marinaded chicken and this marinade gives me just that.

My husband cooked this chicken in his electric skillet, but you could do it on the stove top or even grill it.

Balsamic Garlic Chicken Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic, about 3 cloves
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 2 1/2 -3 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients, except the chicken.
  2. Place the chicken into a sealable container or sealable bag and pour the marinade over top of the chicken, turning the chicken to coat it in the marinade. Seal the container or bag and refrigerate overnight.
  3. Remove the chicken from the marinade and add it to a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook for about 5-8 minutes, flip the chicken over and cook on the other side for about 5-8 minutes or until chicken is completely cooked.
Enjoy!!!

Notes:
Depending on how much chicken you use will depend on how many servings. I calculated it as 8 servings since I used four chicken breasts that were just over 10 ounces a piece.
