Meatballs are so versatile. You can serve them as an appetizer, you can serve them with dinner by themselves or on rice or noodles. Let's not forget how delicious meatballs are and how many different ways they can be flavored.
These meatballs have a little sweetness to them and a delicious homemade teriyaki flavor. Plus they are super easy to make, especially if you use precooked frozen meatballs. But of course you can use homemade meatballs if you prefer.
Crock Pot Teriyaki Meatballs
Ingredients:
- 2 dozen precooked, frozen meatballs
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/3 cup low sodium beef broth
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Directions:
- Lightly spray a crock pot with cooking spray.
- Add in the frozen meatballs.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together all of the remaining ingredients until well combined.
- Pour the sauce over the meatballs, coating all of the meatballs in sauce.
- Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the sauce is bubbly and have thickened. If the sauce is not thickening, turn the crock pot to high for the last hour of the cook time.
Enjoy!!!
Notes:
This recipe can easily be doubled to serve more people as long as your crock pot is big enough for all of the meatballs.
