Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Casserole: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

This casserole is so easy to make and tastes delicious.

Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Casserole: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

When making this casserole, I started out by getting the chicken cooking and while it was cooking I prepared the rest of the casserole, like shredding the cheese and mixing things together. So once the chicken was ready all I had to do was assemble the casserole and let it bake. If you already have cooked chicken on hand this casserole will be even easier to make.

Cheesy Chicken Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 10 3/4 ounce can cream of chicken soup
  • 10 3/4 ounce can condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 3/4 cups half and half
  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked and diced
  • 20 ounces frozen broccoli
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Italian dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350º F. Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl stir together both soups and half and half until well mixed.
  3. Add in the chicken and broccoli, stirring to mix.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the prepares baking dish and spread into an even layer.
  5. Sprinkle the top of the casserole with the shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. In a small bowl stir together the bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. Evenly sprinkle this mixture over top of the cheese.
  7. Lightly spray the top of the casserole with cooking spray.
  8. Bake, uncovered, for 25-35 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and broccoli is cooked.
Enjoy!!!
