The name of this chicken says it all, it's awesome. The sauce tastes awesome, which makes the chicken taste awesome. So much flavor comes from such a simple sauce.
I marinaded my chicken overnight, because I wanted to make sure it soaked up lots of flavor from the sauce and it sure it. You can marinate this chicken for less than time, but for the best flavor you want to marinate for a longer time.
Awesome Sauce Chicken
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup honey mustard dressing
- 1/3 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/3 cup hot sauce
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Directions:
- In a small bowl whisk together the honey mustard dressing, teriyaki sauce and hot sauce.
- Place the chicken in a gallon sized Ziploc bag or plastic container with lid. Pour the sauce over the chicken. If in a bag, seal the bag and toss to coat the chicken. If in a container, turn the chicken to coat in the sauce and put the lid on the container.
- Refrigerate for 1 hour or up to overnight, turning the chicken occasionally.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and cook in a skillet until completely cooked, turning once, about 5-10 minutes per side.
Notes:
It is hard to tell how much marinade the chicken absorbs, so for the nutritional info I included all of the ingredients. Also the chicken breasts I use are rather large, so we only eat a half of one, but the nutritional facts are for 1 whole chicken breast.
