White Chocolate Mousse

White Chocolate Mousse: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

This white chocolate mousse is very rich and delicious. I was originally skeptical about adding the mini chocolate chips. I thought the chocolate chips would interfere with the creaminess of the mousse.  However, they only added to the deliciousness of the mousse and I enjoyed the little bit of crunch with the creamy and rich mousse.

White Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients:

  • 12 ounces good quality white chocolate, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • mini chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan add the chocolate and 1/4 cup cream. Cook a medium-low heat until the chocolate is completely melted. If the cream starts to get bubbly around the edges reduce the heat.
  2. Remove the pan from the heat and allow to cool completely.
  3. In a large bowl add the remaining cream and the melted and cooled white chocolate mixture.
  4. Using an electric mixer beat the cream until soft peaks form.
  5. Refrigerate until cold and ready to serve.
  6. Serve with desired amount of mini chocolate chips.
Enjoy!!!
