Oh boy is this sandwich loaded. It was slightly difficult to turn because of how much was in it. But still super delicious.
Next time I make it I will use less turkey to make it easier to turn and have noted that in the recipe. For the cheese in this sandwich you can use your favorite type of cheese, cheddar, muenster, provolone or what ever cheese that will melt well.
Turkey Bacon Grilled Cheese
Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
- 4 slices bread
- 4 slices cheese
- 6 ounces sliced deli turkey
- 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked
- 4 dill pickle sandwich slices
- 4 tomato slices
Directions:
- In a small bowl combine the mayonnaise and hot sauce.
- Spread the sauce on all four slices of bread.
- Top two slices of bread with the cheese slices.
- Layer on the remaining ingredients and place the remaining bread slices on top.
- Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and cook the sandwiches on both sides until the bread is golden brown and cheese has melted, about 4-5 minutes per side.
