Whenever I feel like a grilled turkey and cheese sandwich, all I put in it is turkey and whatever kind of cheese I am in the mood for. This sandwich takes that basic sandwich and makes it better by adding a dressing and sliced tomatoes. My husband and I prefer miracle whip over mayonnaise, so that is what I used, but you can use either one.
Grilled Turkey and Provolone Sandwich
Ingredients:
- 8 slices bread
- 2 tablespoons miracle whip
- 6 ounces thinly sliced deli turkey
- 8 tomato slices
- 8 slices provolone cheese
Directions:
- Spread 1/2 tablespoon miracle whip on four slices of bread. Top the slice of bread with turkey, tomato and cheese. Place remaining bread slices on top.
- Place the sandwiches into a hot griddle or skillet and cook until golden brown and cheese has melted, about 3-4 per side.
