Oh my goodness! These chicken breasts are amazing! Creamy and flavorful, I felt like I was eating an everything bagel.

Cream Cheese Stuffed Everything Chicken: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

I can see myself making these chicken breasts quite often since they are fairly easy to make.

Cream Cheese Stuffed Everything Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 teaspoons all purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3/4 cup everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400º F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat.
  2. Use a sharp knife and cut the chicken breasts almost in half horizontally.
  3. Open the chicken breast up at the slit and place 1 ounce of cream cheese inside and spread to cover the bottom half of the chicken breasts. Fold the top half of the chicken breast back over the cream cheese.
  4. Add the flour to a shallow bowl. Add the eggs to another shallow bowl. Add 1 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning to another shallow bowl.
  5. Working with one chicken breast at a time, place in into the flour and gently push down to coat in flour flip the chicken over to coat the other side. Remove the chicken from the flour and gently shake off the excess flour. Place the chicken into the beaten eggs and coat both sides. Remove the chicken and allow the excess egg to drip off. Place the chicken into the everything seasoning and sprinkle 1 tablespoon over top of the chicken breast. Gently press down to help the coating stick, turn the chicken breast over again gently pressing down. Repeat with the remaining chicken breasts.
  6. In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil.
  7. Add in the stuffed and coated chicken breasts, cook for 1 minute or until the seasoning is starting to turn golden. Flip the chicken breasts and cook for an additional minute or until the seasoning is starting to turn golden.
  8. Transfer the chicken breasts to the prepared baking sheet and place in the oven.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the chicken is completely cooked.
Enjoy!!!

Notes:
You may need more or less flour and everything bagel seasoning depending on how big your chicken breasts are.

I added the everything seasoning in batches because when I added it all at once the first chicken breast used a lot of it. So adding a little bit per side helps to not use too much. Add more or less depending on how much seasoning you want on each side of the chicken breasts.
