Big Mac's and Sloppy Joe's come together in this delicious sandwich. You have the flavors of a Big Mac and the messiness of a sloppy joe.
Big Mac Sloppy Joes
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup thousand Island dressing
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup diced dill pickles
- 1 cup diced yellow onions
- 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 hamburger buns
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, cook the turkey until crumbled and cooked. Drain any grease.
- Reduce the heat to medium and add in the mayo, thousand island dressing and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Add in the diced pickles and diced onions, stirring to mix.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the shredded cheese just until cheese and and turkey are combined.
- Spoon the turkey mixture onto the bottom of the buns and sprinkle with shredded lettuce and cover with top bun.
Notes:
I got 6 sandwiches out of this recipe, but depending on how much meat mixture you put in each you may get less or more sandwiches.
