Smoothies are so versatile. You don't have or like mixed berries, you can use a single berry like strawberries or blueberries. You can use whatever type of milk you have on hand. I use Greek yogurt because it is thicker and has more calcium and protein than regular yogurt, but you could substitute regular yogurt if that is what you have on hand.
Berry Oatmeal Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1 frozen banana, cut into chunks
- 1/3 cup old fashioned rolled oats
Directions:
- Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
- If smoothie is too thick blend in some more milk, to reach desired consistency.
