I absolutely love cherries and knew I needed a smoothie with cherries in it. Cherries are beneficial to runners. They help reduce muscle pain and inflammation, plus have several other benefits.
This smoothie was delicious even though it did not have as much tart cherry flavor I was hoping for. But I feel I like things a bit more tart than others. However, it did have good cherry flavor. Maybe I will try and tweak the recipe to give it a bit more tart cherry flavor for anyone who likes that flavor like I do.
