Cheesy Bacon Chicken

Cheesy Bacon Chicken: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

This chicken is easy to prepare and bakes in 30 minutes or less, making it perfect for those busy weeknights. But most importantly this chicken is loaded with cheese and bacon making it super delicious.

Cheesy Bacon Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2 large and thick chicken breasts, sliced in half horizontally
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 6 ounces cold cream cheese, sliced into 8 thin slices
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400º F. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with black pepper and add to the prepared baking dish.
  3. Top the chicken breasts with the cold cream cheese. Then sprinkle with the bacon and cheddar cheese.
  4. Bake, uncovered, for 20-30 minutes or until the chicken is completely cooked.
Enjoy!!!

Notes:
Instead of 2 large and thick chicken breasts but in half, you could use 4 small and thin chicken breasts.

You want the cream cheese to be cold so it does not melt too quick in the oven. Take the cream cheese straight out of the fridge, cut and place on the chicken.
