Cranberry Pecan Bars

Cranberry Pecan Bars: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

These bars could not be any easier to make. Just a few simple steps and you will have these delicious bars ready to bake in the oven. Then all you have to so is wait for the bars to bake and then cool before you can enjoy them.

Cranberry Pecan Bars

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups graham crackers crumbs
  • 8 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted butter
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Southern Comfort
  • 3 cups pecans, chopped and toasted
  • 3 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350º F. Lightly spray a half sheet pan (18x13 inches) with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl combine the graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Add in the melted butter and stir until everything is well combined.
  3. Pour the graham cracker mixture onto the prepared sheet pan and press down into an even layer.
  4. In medium bowl mix together the four, cinnamon and Southern Comfort until well mixed.
  5. In another large bowl combine the toasted pecans, cranberries and corn syrup. Mix until everything is coated in the corn syrup.
  6. Pour the pecan and cranberry mixture over the graham cracker crust and gently spread into an even layer.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until the bars are firm.
  8. Let cool completely before slicing.
