This popcorn was so addictive. I wanted to stop eating it, but could not, it was that good. It reminded me of a Rice Krispie Treat, but with popcorn. Even the leftovers were delicious, not quite as good as the day it was made, but good none the less.
Marshmallow Popcorn
Ingredients:
- 1 cup popcorn kernels
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 16 ounces marshmallows
- 1 cup brown sugar
Directions:
- Pop the popcorn kernels and place in a large bowl.
- In a medium saucepan add the butter, marshmallows and brown sugar. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring often, until the mixture is completely melted, mixed and can easily be poured.
- Pour the marshmallow mixture over the popped popcorn and gently stir with a spatula until the popcorn is evenly coated. Let it cool and then serve.
