Taco Pasta Salad

Taco Pasta Salad: Savory Sweet and Satisfying

I love tacos and I love taco salad. I also love my pasta, so why not combine my loves together and make taco pasta salad.

This salad makes a lot, but it is easy and of course delicious. If you want to make this ahead of time, just wait to add the dressing until right before serving or the lettuce will get soggy.

Taco Pasta Salad

Ingredients:

  • 16 ounces rotini pasta
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 green pepper, finely diced
  • 1 pint grape tomatoes, cut in hal
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar jack
  • 3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 /12 cups French dressing
  • nacho Doritos, crushed

Directions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain well and rinse with cold water.
  2. Cook the ground turkey until completely cooked. Remove from the heat and stir in the taco seasoning.
  3. In a large bowl stir together the pasta, turkey, green pepper, tomatoes, lettuce and cheese. Mix in the dressing and top each serving with crushed chips. Serve right away.
Enjoy!!!
