I absolutely loved the lemon zest added in these overnight oats. It added a nice freshness and pop of flavor to the oats. You could also add a few fresh blueberries to these oats as well.
Blueberry Lemon Overnight Oats
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2-1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 6 ounces blueberry greek yogurt, stirred
Directions:
- In a 16 ounce mason jar or other sealable container, add the oats and milk. Add in the lemon zest and the blueberry yogurt.
- Seal the mason jar or container and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning stir everything together.
