The great thing about this sandwich is the almost endless possibilities it has. You can pair almost any meat with any cheese. I used turkey with provolone for some and turkey with pepper jack for some others. You could even have a variety of meats and cheeses and let everyone make their own. Just be sure to label the foil so you know who made which sandwich.
Turkey and Cheese Honey Mustard Pretzel Melts
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
- 4 soft pretzel rolls
- 4-8 slices cheese, any kind
- 4-8 slices turkey
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350º F.
- In a small bowl stir together the honey, mustard and butter, until smooth.
- Slice each pretzel roll in half and and spread both sides with the honey mustard sauce.
- Place 1/2 or 1 slice of cheese on the bottom half of the roll, then top the cheese with 1-2 slices of turkey. Top the turkey with another 1/2 or 1 slices of cheese. Place the top half of the bun on top of the cheese.
- Wrap each sandwich in foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes or until the sandwiches are warm and cheese is melted.
